this amount of salt smells awful in case you were wondering. |
We were dropped off and we went to lunch. The three of us decided to go out to eat at one of the restaurants at the airport for our last day so we went to Squatters. Holy YUM! I ordered the most delicious burger. It was my first time there, and you better believe I will be going there again. They have 2 more locations, one in Salt Lake and Park City. After a very filling lunch, we went back to Dave's office to find out where we would be sent for the rest of the day. When we got there, he told us goodbye, collected our badges and sent us off on our way, wishing us luck, letting us leave at 1PM.
I am so incredibly grateful for the experience I have had to intern at the airport. I have met so many incredible people while I have been there. Everybody there truly loves their job, and some day I will be at that point where I will absolutely love going to work every day. I was sad when I had to give my badge back and walk away. I felt like I had been demoted. I have learned so much from this experience and I know now that there are so many options available to me. It still sucks that I don't get to go out to the airport for fun anymore...
*peace out girl scout*
